DIY Hand Stamped Cloud Gift Wrap
Abbi and I have been craftasticly busy recently, with projects flying out the door personalised name stamps a few days ago followed hot on the heels by hand painted rainbow gift wrap a few days ago. So it was inevitable that we would combine the stamps and the gift wrap to create. You’ve guessed: DIY hand stamped cloud gift wrap.
Materials Needed
- Large sheet of paper – I used flip chart paper, but wallpaper lining paper is good too.
- Foam sheet
- Scissors
- A block to mount the foam shape
- Paint
- Sponge or cloth
Method
The first thing to do is make coma cloud shapes and little raindrops. Draw in pencil what you want, and cut them out. Attach to a block. Used double sided tape to stick it in place.
Then make your own “ink pad”. Use a shallow tray or lid, and place a cloth or sponge on the tray. Saturate the cloth with paint in your preferred colour.
Then get stamping.
Two sizes of cloud stamps works well.
Repeat the process with the rain drops in a contrasting colour.
Allow all to dry before wrapping the gifts.
Add a few hand painted gift tags.
And finally some ribbons.
And if you are looking for something to wrap up, how about these super cute cloud dishes:
