Printable Advent Calendar
These printable advent calendar bags are an easy homemade craft to celebrate the countdown to Christmas. Fill with sweets or other little treats, and enjoy your pre Christmas preparations.
I made loads and gave them out to friends as presents for their kids, because they are so quick and easy to make.

Materials for printable advent bags
- Printer paper
- Mini treat bags
- Stapler and staples
- Washi tape
- Shoe box or gift box (optional)
Method
First download the printable advent letters, and trim to shape.
Next gather together 24 little treats or goodies for your advent calendar. Place 1 treat in each bag. I used a combination of these gold spot and silver stripe treat bags. These are available from amazon (and other craft shops) for a few pence each.

Place a treat in each bag, fold over the top and staple shut with the printable advent numbers.

Finally, add a strip of coordinating washi tapes to add a bit of bling.

Use a strip of tape for each bag to cover the staple.

They look pretty with random tapes used on each corner.
Each picture features a different festive themed banner or garland and a festive phrase or saying, along with the numbers one to twenty four.

Out local pound shop had a large selection of these gift boxes, which were the perfect size for 24 treats. But a shoe box will work well if you can’t get gift boxes.
